Sean Martin is an actor and director who has collaborated on over 30 theatrical and film productions worldwide in places like New York, Chicago, London, and Mexico. He is represented by the Collier Talent Agency in Austin.
In addition, Sean is also an amateur set and lighting technician. He spent time in residence with the Joyce Theatre in New York and the Abilene Shakespeare Festival. He was also a part of building and designing many of his own student productions.
Before becoming a co-founder of Penfold Theatre Company, Sean trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and earned the Silver Medal from the British Academy for Dramatic Combat, in recognition for his accomplishment as a stage combatant. He also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Abilene Christian University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude
Sean is originally from Texas and is thrilled to be bringing more theatre back home. He and his lovely wife Jen moved to Austin in 2007.
