Since our founding in 2007, Penfold has been bringing live, professional theatre to northern Travis and Williamson counties. We are thrilled to share timeless stories like It's a Wonderful Life: a live radio show, and explore characters like George Bailey and his daughter Zuzu.
Many people remember the moment in It's a Wonderful Life where George hides the petals of Zuzu's flower in his pocket.... and later will find the petals still there to prove to him that he is, in fact, alive.
These are little petals with a lot of meaning. They prove to George that he is alive, but more importantly remind him that each person's life is valuable because of the impact it has on others.
So as this holiday season rolls around, I want to thank you. Without your support these stories that touch my heart never get put on stage. Without you, no one hears about Zuzu's petals.

Unlike many companies in the region, we remain dedicated to paying all of the artists who give of their time and talents to make our productions beautiful and heartwarming. And this may come as a surprise to you, but ticket sales only cover a portion of the expenses of producing a show like It's a Wonderful Life.
