At Penfold, our hope is not only to delight, but to remind us that life’s possibilities are larger than our day-to-day experience. The theatre is a place for artists and audiences to dream together, question together, seek together and change together.
Like others in the regional theatre movement, Penfold also believes that audiences everywhere deserve access to performances of the highest caliber and that artists should be able to stay, live and create in the communities they love.
The communities we love are north Travis and Williamson counties. The rapidly-growing neighborhoods of Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Hutto, Cedar Park and Leander are eager for the professional performing arts, and for the past decade, Penfold has worked to make that vision a reality.
But if such work is to continue, we need your help. Like other nonprofit theatres across the country, ticket sales at Penfold cover only 60% of expenses. We depend on generosity from individuals like you to bring every single production to the stage.
Will you help us today? Make your tax-deductible contribution now.
Do you like what we do? Buy us a coffee! For about the price of a cup o' joe every month, you can make sure the residents of north Travis and Williamson Counties continue to receive first-class theatrical programming. (And take it from us, creating professional theatre requires a lot of coffee...)
Gifts of $5, $10 or $25 per month create a solid financial foundation upon which we can build a season of performance and education programs. The reliable income means our staff can spend less time asking for donations and more time working with artists to create the experiences you love. It means more opportunities for Central Texas actors, directors and designers; deeper engagement with our students and audiences; and bolder actions toward making the north metro area a hub for arts and culture programming.
After signing up for a monthly donation, you'll be added to our Producer's Circle. As a member of the Circle, we'll recognize your crucial support at events and on our website.
