Can you ever go home again? It’s been twenty years since Peter and Kari stared at each other from across the dance floor of the old pavilion. Navigating through a sea of friends at their high school reunion (all played by a single omniscient Narrator), they make the painful journey to rediscover each other and what time may yet have in store for them. Often hailed as the Our Town of our day, The Pavilion is an award-winning chamber drama rife with poetry, humor, depth and romance.
The Pavilion has been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize, the American Theatre Critics' Association Best New Play Award and the 2005-2006 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play. Just ten years old, the show has been produced at regional theatres around the nation.
This production, directed by Ryan Crowder, will play at Hyde Park Theatre April 26 - May 13, 2012. For more information, please visit the show's webpage.
