Yesenia performs regularly in San Antonio, Austin, New Braunfels, and Gruene, Texas. Catch her in the capital city with The Brass Tax or The Time Warps, in San Antonio with the bands The Groove Doctors or Rock ‘n’ Soul, or in the beautiful Hill Country towns of Gruene and New Braunfels as a solo, duo, or trio act. She received a 2011 Alamo Theatre Arts Council “Globe Award” for her portrayal of country music legend Patsy Cline, and reprises the role in theatres around Texas and California.

“If you’ve never heard Yesenia sing, you are in for a real treat. This New Braunfels, TX native has a wide variety of musical experience, ranging from performances at Circle Arts Theatre to performing at Sea World. Yesenia continues to sing in many different venues: from churches to bars. She also gives private voice and piano lessons, giving her a unique perspective on musical performance. She lists her influences as Barbra Streisand, Karen Carpenter and Patsy Cline, and once you hear her voice, you will understand why these powerful singers had an impact on her career. She also sings with ‘City Sounds’ and ‘Rock and Soul,’ variety bands in San Antonio, and serves as choral director at the Comal County Unitarian Universalist Society.”
